It is 100% the defensive coordinator that is causing our defensive issues. We are getting outcoached so bad. It's unreal. I've watched more game tape than many as I sat with Josh Heupel and watched tape after tape after tape back in the day. We are absolutely the easiest team to scheme against when it comes to the opposing offense versus our defensive Concepts.

I’m not sure this needed a separate thread, but yeah both our coordinators are junior varsity level much less P4.

I don’t think the talent level on defense dropped off that much from last year to warrant a big drop in production. Yes cornerback is weaker, but safeties should be better, dline a little weaker, lb pretty similar.

Absolutely true. Collins is a nice story, but this team is so fundamentally bad defensively it is embarrassing. I’m not sure any coach on that side of the ball save Sori-Marin should be back next year.
