I hear yah but these are games we need the Gophers to be a part of. The atmosphere in East Lansing seems amazing.
 

It's true bucky losing does make me feel better. A little tiny part of me really wanted the gophers to be the ones to ruin their season.

True, but at least we know that it doesn't look like Wisconsin has a big ten championship team with an outside chance of, *gasp* making to the BCS title game? Hoping to see them drop a few more.

That just made me think: Would you rather Wisconsin won the big ten, or have Brewster around another year?

It's one of those questions that if God were a gopher fan (and he clearly isn't) even he wouldn't be able to answer.

Brewster for another year. Don't see how the team could be worse next year. Yeah, I have heard and said that plenty of times.

watch out their are fans on here that think it benefits the gophers program to see Wisc do good, they are what some call Palanites.
 

So much for "elite" Wisconsin. They get hyped all off season, start top 10 and the first real test they have they can't handle it. This is why I can't stand their fans posing lik they are soo good. They're not elite, their not top 10, their not national championship contenders. You beat up on cupcakes then lose ur first big ten game!!!
 



Yeah. MSU looks like a potential beast of a program for some years to come.
Dantonio's program is infinitely better than Brewster's.

Michigan, MSU, Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa and..........lowly Minnesota.
I'm really pumped for divisional play next season.

Hopefully wisky really is hurt by their cupcake schedule in the way many of Mason's teams were.

We're going to absolutely get pounded next week. They'll be angry and at home. They play for Rose Bowls and BCS games. We play for nothing...

The quicker we come to grips with how terrible we are and how much better our hated rival Wisconsin is than us, the quicker we can begin to right the ship.

It's not even close ....

HAHAHAHA.

That division does not look like a favor for us at all. Especially with our cross-division rival being wisconsin.

WI set themselves up for this. This is what happens when you play Austin Peay at home for your BigTen warm-up. This goes for MN and every other team, there is zero advantage to playing FCS and lower-tier FBS teams (even when they are better than you).

How can watching Becky lose NOT make you feel better? Doesn't matter if the Gophers are 4-1 or 1-4, a Sconnie loss is always enjoyable, in any sport. As you said, we're going to get pounded next Saturday anyway, might as well revel in Becky's disappointment.
 

Michigan State has consistently been recruiting fourth and fifth in the Big Ten, it was only a matter of time.

When you have nothing to cheer for at home, you have to delight in the failure of others. Gopher fans do this every year in FB and most years in BB. It's a major reason why the programs will always be minor league.

Do you realize what you are saying? Please stop. At least Wisconsin BEAT the cupcakes. Our team can't even do that.
 

Also I agree that Wisconsin is not a top 10 team. They are a top 20-25 team, IMO. Will probably finish either 9-3 or 8-4 and play in a good bowl game. Not bad for a team in some turmoil and losing your best defensive player. Still not explosive enought on offense.

The stench of hypocrisy is overwhelming this morning.
 

Wisconsin is a top 15 program. That's played out over the last 20 years. Your not going to find more than 13 or 14 programs in the country that have had as much success beating the teams they have and championships.

As for this years team, I watched that game. MSU looks better this year and played well. UW is still a team I see winning 9 games... If we did that in gopherland we'd be partying in the streets. 9 wins at Wisconsin is considered a mediocre year if you talk to there fans.

This is probably still a top 25 team this year but not Top 10 your correct. There's not a team on there schedule there not capable of beating, they'll win most of them.
