I visited the Hall of Fame at TCF today for the first time in a couple of years and there was a program in the case with the following on the plaque accompanying it:
This program is from Gopher Football's 50th anniversary dinner for the Little Brown Jug. Bernie Bierman, who would become a coaching legend, was in his first season at the helm when the dinner was held on October 23, 1953.
