that after four years of being the starter I am not sure he has missed one play due to injury. I do remember him coming out once but not sure if he made it back for the next play. Thats Favre like durability. I am of course not talking about them bringing Gray in for the wildcat but just talking about injury. I could be wrong.

its not favre like durability, he just hasnt been sacked much because A we insist on using a nonexistent running game, and B he throws INTs when hes hurried

The one play he got injured against NW in 2008 was on a 3rd Down...then we missed a chip shot field goal on 4th & he returned the next series...

He's one tough kid if nothing else...

You wonder if Weber lays in bed at night and wonders "what if?" What if Mason had not blown that lead against Texas Tech in that bowl game, and Weber had played under Mason the last 4 years?

If nothing else, he would be the best bubble screen QB in the nation.

I tell you what, if they don't move Weber over to get Gray behind center to be ready for next year, and our D stays as pathetic as they've been, Weber is going to put up some monster numbers this year.

I'm guessing that Tony Mortenson would have gotten the nod under Mason if he was back in 2007.

He definitely would have been blamed for two years less than he was, that's for sure.
