Tough break for Ihnen.....3 season ending injuries over the course of your college career is brutal.

Looking at stats he was having a pretty solid season for them as well playing around 20 minutes a night and averaging 10pts and 4reb. Guessing this is probably it for his basketball career.....

I was rooting for him 2. It may have just been a matter of being 2 years removed from knee injuries that made the difference for him at Liberty. It also could have been the difference in overall level of play as opposed to the Big Ten. But if the above factors weren't really the big factors, I wonder what, specifically, it was he got from the coaching staff at Liberty that he didn't get from Pitino or Johnson.

Though I do remember he seemed to have been fairly effective off the bench at the very end of Pitino's tenure at U of M., when he was being used as more of a 4 than a big wing. (I think)
