He was short on several shots tonight and just didn't seem to have the energy especially in the second half. A TV observation on my part. How about those of you at the game?

Sounds like the night nearly everyone on both teams had.

Don't think he's wearing down, though that miss late where he hit the front of the rim from about five feet was huge. He was working hard the whole game but IMO there are several things. One, MS always has people who will bang and depending on the calls, that can slow you down. Second half Colton was sitting and it's Trevor alone to provide the muscle. Ralph certainly isn't going to. Two, there's all sorts of scouting on him now and people simply know how to play him better. There were a couple of times he was really being pressured and I thought if only he could put it on the floor. Also, if only he had a mid-range jumper people respected. Three, think of how a couple of outside shooters would open things up for Trevor. Also, think of how a point guard could get him in position. Come to think about it, it's too frustrating to think about what a point guard or outside shooting could do.

Don't have stats but Trevor certainly seems to have improved his free throw shooting. Totally selfish, but I hope he comes next year after a summer of working on his jumper. Then he might have a chance to get drafted.

I was at the game and couldn't tell what happened when it appeared like Mbakwe got pushed after a play and landed hard. Crowd wanted a flagrant foul, did he flop?

Looked like he got shoved to the floor to me, really. I wouldn't call it a flagrant, but it was a foul IMO.

Watched in about 4 times on dvr. After Trevor made his shot he turned and ran into a brick wall he didn't see. No flop, no foul. It was like a defending guard running blindly into a pick.

Oh, oops. I was thinking of the play at the rim where it looked to me he got sent back down, not the one where he turned and ran into Sherman, I believe, after the bucket. Nah, that was clean, he just didn't see it coming. Sherman came over after the whistle to make sure he was good.

Makes sense, I just saw it out of the corner of my eye.

It was an accident, but it should have been a foul. As they went to the time-out, the MSU player apologized.

Hey I got an idea! Let's criticize the best player we have!
