Joey Searcy didn't get admitted so he won't be playing this year it appears.

OK, I did some quick research after posting this and see that Searcy is a gray shirt candidate this year. However, if he can't get into school this Fall, he obviously can't practice and workout with the team. I guess it looks like Marquies Gray all over again.

Searcy has always been a gray shirt and gray shirts can not work-out with with team or take classes (at least not a full load). This is not a surprise; this has been the situation since signing day.

Hopefully, it will work out for the best. Depth at DT seems solid this year but they are a bit thin going forward, the extra time in the weight room and the additional time to spend on his academics can only help IMO.
