Is the worm turning for Gopher fans?

At church yesterday and saw many goer's wearing Gopher gear. It has been a pretty positive last month. Lady's win the Frozen Four, Men win the WCHA and head to Tampa for the Frozen Four. Wrestler's win the National Duel's. Hoopster's Make the NIT Final Four. Not earth shaking, but the lady Gopher's win the WBI ( a win is a win) Four positive days of Spring Practice, where as last year center snaps were being dropped, passes air mailed, missed coverages, etc. Friend attended one of the practices and said the difference is night and day from last year. Player's look bigger, stronger and faster. He was especially impressed with the two JC DB's. Like many of you, we're heading out to Vegas for the first football game. Is this the biginning of a new era in Gopher sports and a biginning of the end of all the downfalls? I remember the line in Hoosiers when the matriarch of the town invited Norman Dale for dinner first saying: "The sun don't shine on the same dog's ass twice, but you haven't seen a ray of sun shine since you have been here" Keep the faith brother....
