Is Brian Flores back as DC for the Vikes?

Here or Elsewhere as DC or HC?

I would guess the man gets a pretty healthy raise and he's back next season.

It would obviously suck to lose Flores, but a pretty decent consolation prize is the comp picks teams get for "grooming" minority candidates who get hired to HC or GM positions. Multiple 3rd round picks.

Interesting comments from Ryan Fitzpatrick on the Fitz & Whit podcast

Found this On heavy which said Flo is the clubhouse leader for the Raiders gig, but the Ravens may show some interest as well.

The grim reality that were going to lose Flores is setting in. I hope it's not a repeat of letting Tomlin leave the organization.

He's definitely earned another chance.
KOC is not Brad Childress. At least we know that much.

Ah yes...the walking mustache with a "Kickass Offense". Good times.

There will be a lot more pressure on KOC's offense and play calling without Flores' defense keeping them in games and giving them solid field position. The departure of Flores would be much bigger loss than any player we cut or lose in FA in my opinion.

Depends on the replacement. I'd like to see them get Jonathan Gannon

Meh. Obviously there's a significant difference in talent between the two (2) teams but these aren't exactly inspiring stats:

#27 in Total Defense (Vikings #3)
#24 in Pass Defense (Vikings #2)
#25 in Rush Defense (Vikings #21)
#29 in Points Allowed (Vikings #7)

Both teams had significant injury problems this year so that's no excuse for Gannon, and he had every opportunity as the Head Coach to step in and help Rallis with their defensive struggles. If he did, it didn't help.

I would prefer Raheem Morris if he was an option.

Rationally I agree with you, but not my irrational self🥸

The Cardinals led the league in injuries this year, by a fair margin (at least by a few of the accounts I saw) so I don't know what to make of it. The offense being shitty left them on the field a lot too.

There are some in Philly (who still hate Gannon for the way he left) who say he had nothing to do with how good that Philly Super Bowl defense was. I don't know for sure. They got worse after he left. I don't know how much of the defense they can put on Rallis either. Rallis for a little bit there was a rising star, maybe not so much anymore
