guy was a game changing defensive lineman
Agreed. Not sure where he's projected, but the local pro team could use an impact upgrade on the line.
He's expected to be the second edge rusher taken (after Young) which means top 10ish.Not sure where he's projected, but the local pro team could use an impact upgrade on the line.
Might have single-handedly kept us from Pasadena.
Yup.Might have single-handedly kept us from Pasadena.
Selfishly I hoped he would stay, thankfully he’s smart and taking the money. Funny the impact a 5 star recruit can have!
There were a few players who stayed, like Nico Collins at Michigan and Pat Freiermuth at Penn State, but the majority of expected declarations happened.Sounds like basically every expected declaration happened, throughout the Big Ten.

Huh, you appear to be correct about Freiermuth... But for some reason I saw him all over NFL Draft boards a few weeks back that he was "staying" in school, so I'm not sure what was going on there.Freiermuth won’t be draft eligible until next year, otherwise, I suspect he would have been gone, since he’s going to be mainly a blocker! Haha...
He could go hang out in the Tight Ends room.Freiermuth won’t be draft eligible until next year, otherwise, I suspect he would have been gone, since he’s going to be mainly a blocker! Haha...
I thought he is draft eligible because he went to Prep school and is therefore 3 years removed from high school.Freiermuth won’t be draft eligible until next year, otherwise, I suspect he would have been gone, since he’s going to be mainly a blocker! Haha...
