Iowa State probation? Help Gopher recruiting??

Not sure if I read this correct, but Iowa State may be on a 2 year probation for excessive phone calls. This includes the basketball program.
It is unclear the exact penalties. However, could this FUD help gopher recruit some ISU JuCo prospects like 6-9 Richard Armadi and 6-5 Dustin Hogue from Indian Hills CC along with 6-9 power man Daniel Edozie from Tyler CC, TX.? Just a thought.....

If we wanted "power man" Edozie, we would already have him.
 



Iowa State recruiting = find as many good transfers from other schools as possible. Hard to compete with that.
 



Maybe we can talk Matt Thomas into jumping ship from Iowa State to the gophers.

I talked with Matt via twitter the day Tubby got fired and said something like-- new coach coming, we can get you to be a Gopher yet. and he came back asking if the new coach was the Mayor-- I told him I doubted it, the Mayor will wait for the Wolves job- and then i don't remember (and too lazy to go back and look) if Matt replied. I got the impression he was there for Fred, but you never know with kids.
