Sometimes father-son coach-coordinator arrangement can be dicey. Ask Al and Mike Groh. Brian Ferentz is one of most intense coaches I've watched.

Iowa fans have hated their OC's for the last 10 years. Kirk Ferentz will take more heat if his son doesn't produce results.
All of his three boys have played for him, his son-in-law works in the football program, and now his oldest son is his OC. A few more years and his brothers will join him and dad coaching.
You can't blame the kid, his dad is being paying $4.5 mil. It's a great gig if you can get it. Why not keep it in the family?

Why were they getting a quote from Mark Dienhart?

It was a tweet from Mark with his opinion on the report.

Why would the CEO of the Schulze Family Foundation offer an opinion on the hiring of Brian Ferentz?

Because he's trying to hide his real identity as Tom.
