Word is he got the scholarship after being asked by the coaching staff what would be the appropriate punishment for theft, sexual assult & possession of a controlled substance & answering "sitting out the opening game against Eastern Washington State."
 

Seems like in football, that's a risk, but let's not kid ourselves, it's not like they're bound to him, and even if he did commit, it wouldn't matter much. Like Kentucky basketball and that one 8th grader a few years back.

I will say, this part made me chuckle:

Since learning about the potential offer on Friday, he's been in the weight room six times.

I learned of a big potential job offer one time and I spent time in the bathroom six times.
