Where are many of the Gopher fans sitting for the Jan. 2nd game at Iowa?

Good question. I plan to buy tickets ahead of time but I'm not sure of the arena layout. I'd like to be behind the Gopher bench or werever the bulk of "us" will be. Some one, anyone? Thanks in advance.

Myself and a few other bought our tickets for section C. I think in an earlier thread someone said the Gopher bench would be in front of sections C D and E.

Regardless, the mostly empty arena will provide some choice seats.

Section B, Row 10...behind Gopher bench, closer to center court though I think.

Last couple of years, I've bought tickets out in front from somewhat bashful scalpers at face value. Turns out they've often been U of Iowa faculty. Their seats are midway up in the corner behind the Iowa bench. Not bad . . . .

We're bringing a nice size group with the intention of buying there. Even if we get split into two groups, there appears to be plenty of space to meet up somewhere in the arena and sit together. Judging from recent attendance, I don't even think this scenario would put us in particularly bad seats.

Sections B through E are in the area behind the Gopher bench. B are near center court and E are the more affordable corner seats.
The important part is to be there. A 3PM starting time makes it easy to go down and back in one day.
