Precisely the reason why the letting the Illinois and Iowa games slip away is so devastating - because you're going to have 2 or 3 games each year like the Purdue game when a team goes absolutely unconscious and hits 22 ft 3s like they did in the 1st half.

Especially when we have no real or reliable answers to counter-punch from behind the arc.

The score is misleading - MSU was threatening to win by 50. It was a complete physical thrashing.
