Let's get this out of the way now, your position has caught 16 balls over the last two years. Now with a change in offensive coordinator, how excited are you for a bigger slice of the Sanford pie?
TE coach Clay Patterson: I think our guys as a whole have taken on the challenge of getting to be more diverse in everything that they do. With the amount of time we spent in pass-protection and run blocking, it's been fun to challenge them especially since it's an older group. So it's been fun to challenge on with the next evolution of let's do some more things. Let's evolve as a group.
I got a group of unselfish guys that are about the team first and it'll be fun to see them get a chance to catch some footballs. We're happy to do whatever it takes to win, but it's been fun. It's good to see it evolve and we'll see how it plays out throughout the Big 10 schedule.
