Interesting move, I have to imagine this will become a new trend if this model is successful:

247Sports has confirmed that Notre Dame is working with Georgia State to hold a satellite football camp in Atlanta during the summer of 2015.

Penn State is slated to work a similar camp with Georgia State this summer, much to the chagrin of some SEC coaches - who sounded off on the topic this week.

Dallas and Los Angeles are two other cities that would be advantageous for the Irish to work satellite camps, with places like Orlando, Louisiana and Ohio also cities and states that could be good for ND as well. All are possibilities, it just depends on what colleges would be willing to work with Notre Dame.

Georgia State coach Trent Miles is a former assistant coach at Notre Dame and is an Indiana native.

This is a brilliant move by the Notre Dame coaching staff. The Irish brand is a national one and this continues to add to the strong presence the program already has in these areas. Because recruiting is based on relationships, any personal time goes a long way in establishing comfort level in relationships. This will also help the Irish build more relationships in these areas and make their name even more relevant.
