I've spent the entire week analyzing the Minnesota-Wisconsin game from every angle. It's impossible to contain my excitement for Saturday. The latest "Inside the Film Room" is ready and posted. Wisconsin's rushing concepts are intriguing to study and require quite a bit of background. I've spent a lot of time reading books about gap schemes to improve my knowledge in this area. I hope this is easy for everyone to understand. If you have any questions or comments, as always, send them below and I'll do my best to respond. I'm always looking for feedback!

Due to ongoing board improvements that are currently taking place, I still have to share the link to this story. We hope to have it fixed very soon. Here it is: https://main.gopherhole.com/news_article/show/1067977

Here is some of my other content from this week:

JT is best running back in Badger history and maybe GOAT in NCAA...we have no chance of stopping him much less slowing him down...(at least that is what my buddy Jason from college thinks).

Wisconsin will be motivated and out for blood in this game. I think this will be a shootout and the questions for me are:

1. Can our special teams not totally suck for one week?
2. Will the receiving firm of Johnson, Bateman, Bell & Douglas avoid drops?

If the questions to the two above are yes, I think we outscore Wisconsin. If one of those two is a no, it's a 50/50 game. If they are both no then we lose.

Count me in as concerned about Special Teams. Especially with possible poor weather. Yikes.

Let's hope Jason is really disappointed Saturday night...

Something tells me Fleck takes the ball if Gophs win the toss and Morgan & Co punch the Bucky defense in the mouth to start the game.

I still like the idea of kicking off, holding them, and then get the ball in decent field position. Defense is going to have to start strong so that we can keep them on one end of the field. If we receive, the role could be reverse where we are trying to get out of our end.

You could be right but I think the better approach is to do what you normally do. Otherwise your team can start thinking too much and worrying... especially if you go 3 and out because somebody is too amped and just one penalty can derail you. And weather is part of it too. (Your strategy sure did work for Iowa however)

Take the wind and get off to a good start.
