I'm concerned about KJ Maye, after he made the go ahead catch, I saw that the trainers were working on his knee, the go ahead throw was slightly behind him, and he could have tweaked his knee. I hope he is clean come Monday. Also I heard on the post game radio show that the 6' 10" tight end was not available for the over time possession....Hope I heard that wrong.

Brandon lingden got hit pretty hard out of bounds and didn't return..

I believe Kill said Lingen got a concussion, he did not say anything about Wozniak that I heard other than he played well.

Kill indicated concern about Maye in the post game radio interview. Usually coaches are pretty quiet about injuries until after the training staff has had a chance to do a full evaluation. Certainly might be nothing but something the way he talked about the injury makes me think Maye might be out of action for a while.

We have some healing up to do. Luckily Kent State is the easiest game on our schedule so we should be able to afford to hold some guys out.

I thought I heard that Wozniak was not available for the overtime period....again hope I'm wrong.

With all these injuries, the Gophers will have trouble with their next 2 opponents. :(

Ohio will be a tough game if the offense doesn't improve.

per Joe:

Injury report

• Left guard Jon Christenson left the game with a right knee injury. Kill said he’s worried about that one, along with wide receiver KJ Maye’s undisclosed injury that kept him out of overtime.

• Tight end Brandon Lingen suffered a concussion.

• Safety Damarius Travis, who led the team with 10 tackles at TCU, missed the trip with a hamstring injury.

• Second-team safety Ace Rogers was also out with a knee injury, so Ayinde Adekunle made his first college start, alongside senior Antonio Johnson. Adekunle is a third-year sophomore who walked on from Blaine High School.

• Redshirt freshman wide receiver Jeff Jones missed the trip with a sprained ankle.

Go Gophers!!

Those offensive injuries could be problematic if they are long term. Hopefully they are all able to get back soon, might not need them next week against Kent State but after that it gets a little more dicey.

So to sum things up:

3 of the top 5 OL are injured (Christenson, Campion, Lauer). Top 4 TE's are injured (Duke A, Plesk, Lingen, Wozniak). Top WR and 2 others are injured (Maye, Jones, Gentry). 2 of the top 3 safeties are injured (Travis, Rogers).

Gulp.
