The real problem? Corporations raising prices. How dare they not just accept a loss in profits. They have enough money already.

Most of the largest US companies are making more than enough money to account for inflation”

But let’s be clear, this isn’t on Biden.

Then why didn't they raise prices to that level in 2019? It would have given their investors even more profit.

Fake as F, per usual spoof.

There's little he can do. When he does that little, you guys attack it. But if TFG were in office it would be "His policies!"
howie, you can make believe that Biden hasn’t caused the energy shortage, but the truth is in the numbers. Trump significantly expanded the production of energy in the US to the point that we were energy independent and net exporters of energy.

Below is a chart of US petroleum and liquids production in the US. Naturally, the shutdown of the economy due to Covid decreased oil production, but otherwise it is obvious that the US is producing less energy under Biden policies than before and we now have to ask foreign countries to produce more oil.

Trump did it, rotflmao, you can't make this up.

Biden is selling more production leases than Trump did, he is doing more than Trump.

Please tell me how exactly Biden made the oil companies produce less oil than they produced under Trump.
In detail please...
What oil infrastructure did he shutdown that was up and running under Trump?

I expect crickets...

Mr. Biden has limited U.S. oil production by issuing a slew of executive orders prioritizing climate change over the American energy industry.

Jason Mogdin, president of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, said the administration’s policies have hamstrung U.S. oil production, sending gasoline prices north by reducing supply.

After merely one month in office, the Biden Administration has already had a profound impact on the oil and gas industry. Having promised to prioritize climate change on the campaign trail, President Biden has taken swift action, signing executive orders aimed at everything from curbing emissions to environmental justice.
While the Biden Administration’s 60-day halt on new oil and gas leases on federal lands and the cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline have received the majority of press coverage, the Administration’s actions have also had both direct and indirect impacts on oil and gas companies. These actions include: (1) an order directing federal agencies to eliminate subsidies for fossil fuels; (2) reversing the Trump Administration’s rollback on methane regulations; and (3) staffing the SEC in preparation to mandate ESG and climate disclosures. While these changes primarily aim to reduce the nation’s carbon footprint, they will also add an additional layer of regulations for oil and gas operations and will sharpen public attention on oil and gas companies.

Yet he is now leasing more the Trump did.
🤣

None of that stopped any production that would have any effect on supplies this year.

Biden is destroying fossil fuel industry....
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that through the first half of 2021, the U.S. has exported 5.4 million tons of coal to China, compared to slightly more than 531,000 tons for the same period a year ago — a profound 920% increase year-over-year. For the first half of 2019, before the pandemic, the U.S. exported a little more than 771,000 tons to China.

What do you think this means howie?

Let’s see. You have a historic pandemic that shuts down much of the economy, people don’t have places to spend on restaurants and entertainment, and the government sends money to the public, and howie thinks Joe is doing great b/c he interpreted one graph as positive.

BYW, all that great news started at the beginning of the pandemic when Trump was President. Joe may interpret that graph as needing more pandemics to make us all wealthy.

We have a historic pandemic that snarls supply chains worldwide driving inflation to 30 year highs and you're going to tell me the world is ending because real inflation adjusted disposable income dropped 0.7% off the trendline?

That's funny...

Inflation is the left's hidden tax on the middle and lower class. Right now inflation sits at 5% year over year. The last three months around 8% annualized is the pace.

A dual income family making 100k after tax will spend another 8k in the leftists global warming/ global socialism tax.

Worse, the press of government forces to shut down small businesses, will leave less jobs open long terms as the inflationary period runs its course and flattens at new highs and big business robots and outsources its way out of employing people. The secondary effect a few years out will bring us another mortgage crisis as waves of people will be unable to afford the big mortgage they signed up for to get out of leftist run cities.

The left ruins everything- purposefully. They are VERY effective at accomplishing goals. It's just that the goals are not American. Behind the left is the hatred of mankind.
Why act like inflation is a result of the Left? It’s part Leftist policy, part RW policy, and a whole lot to do with nothing that either “side” could control.

I agree that a thread on inflation is worthwhile, but what you posted here is uninformed/misinformed garbage.

Here is the reality and why you have me blocked. You are the dumbass who posts a story from basically the day Biden is inaugurated as proof of him destroying the oil industry.

Reality....

Biden’s tenure, with his administration handing out drilling permits at a rate of more than 300 a month since his inauguration, a faster pace even than under Donald Trump.

The US federal government is on Wednesday launching an auction of more than 80m acres of the gulf for fossil fuel extraction, a record sell-off that will lock in years, and potentially decades, of planet-heating emissions.
The enormous size of the lease sale – covering an area that is twice as large as Florida – is a blunt repudiation of Biden’s previous promise to shut down new drilling on public lands and waters.

thank you for your part in trying to inform the misinformed.
