Indiana set to hire Kevin Wilson (FRM.com)

Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven. -- Paraside Lost

Technically, I cast Wilson as Satan, and put words in his mouth. I also portrayed Indiana as Hell and Oklahoma as Heaven. All of these portrayals are matters of opinion.

Their coaching search took quite a bit less time than ours. How can they find their coach so quickly when their program is in much worse shape than ours? I would think that they would want to take their time and evaluate all the possible coaches out there to help rebuild the program, but I guess not.

Are you saying that when Wilson arrives in the Indiana locker room to address his team for the first time, he'll hear nothing but a chorus of mocking hisses? For then and for all eternity?

Yes. But that's true no matter who they hire. :p

Look for rumors to abound that Wilson is the devil, according to reliable sources.

Kevin Wilson is from the Randy Walker/Terry Heoppner coaching tree. Hoeppner was hugely popular at IU. Wilson has been wildly successful as OU coordinator. This makes total sense to me.

Now, that said, if I were doing the hiring at IU, it would take me about 25 seconds to get a deal done with Jerry Kill. Perfect fit, IMO.

Maybe it's because they have lower standards and/or are willing to settle for less?
