They feel like it, would you agree?
It’s not a very good movieHow many years until they make a movie?
It would’ve been a great movie if they were doubted all yearI wouldn't say so. To me a team of destiny is one that defies the odds, needs some miracles, gets some lucky bounces. As if the universe is on their side.
Indiana is just really fricking good.
Agreed-it’s not comparable at all to …umm…HoosiersIt’s not a very good movie
They’re kicking the shit out of everyone.
Are number one
Are going to be 5-6 point favorites in the national title game and I’d pick them
What would the movie be about? Them just beating everyone down?
The big man clearly like adidasThe title is going to come down to which coach gives the most glory to the man upstairs
Great idea. Call it Hoosiers IIHow many years until they make a movie?
Last year would’ve been a good movie….Agreed-it’s not comparable at all to …umm…Hoosiers
They’ve quickly become Cobra KaiLast year would’ve been a good movie….
And then the black screen at the end says “and the next year they just murdered everyone”
It would’ve been a great movie if they were doubted all year
They were favored in 12/14 games.
They were a 7 point dog October 11 at Oregon.
They were a 2.5 point dog against Ohio state who finished 12-2 and I would guess number 3 in the country
People doubted them once all year and it was October 11
So, if we were all business…Cignetti is all business, and his team follows suit. Although I did see him crack a partial smile after the last touchdown run. Might have just been gas.
trueThere's a great/interesting movie to be made, but it would be a Sports Documentary or limited series.
Part 1 /Hours 1 & 2 - Woeful history of Indiana football going back to 1967, not even being a close 2nd best in their own state.
Cignetti back story leading up to his "Google me" presser.
Part 2 /Hour 3 & 4 - Showing how the roster was put together and coached up to unprecedented Hoosier heights in 2024, ending by losing to in-state "rival" Notre Dame.
Then snot kicking success of 2025 and what it means for the school itself plus being able to keep Cignetti away from Penn St, LSU et al.
Being able to retain his services is probably the biggest drama in the last part of it.
Nonsense.
- entirely due to easy schedule
- Just money
- not sustainable
- entirely due to the "massive built-in advantages" at Indiana
I've read this all at GH
People have turned around dead programs before. Yes this is a great job, but undoubtedly the best, I don’t know about that.It has been hilarious reading posts of folks doing everything they can to minimize what Indiana has done instead of just giving credit where credit is due. This is undoubtedly the best coaching job in history of college sports and it took both a coach with a vision and an administration/alumni base committing to bringing this vision to fruition.
There are a number of Minnesota fans who are jealous and envious of the Cignetti success. It stings a bit knowing that a program you once considered inferior ascend to heights only you could dream. So of course there has to be some type of unfair advantages at play, right? Instead simply acknowledge that Coyle and Co. don't have the resourcefulness and commitment to growing the program into a national power. Indiana made that commitment and it's paying off handsomely.

Ok, Start the list!People have turned around dead programs before. Yes this is a great job, but undoubtedly the best, I don’t know about that.
Turn arounds can happen much faster with the recent rule changes. Last year I wouldn’t say the were a serious contender despite making the playoff.Turned around...of course. But go from one of the worst P5 programs to national contender in one season?
