The Gophers had to out rebound Michigan by 3 to 1 and Rodney Williams had to hit two 3's in order for them to win by single digits on the road against a mediocre team in a half filled arena. A tough team ekes out a tough win.

I love Blake at the point.

As Bleed always says, "Go Gophers!"

He wasn't flashy, but definitely got the job done...hit some big shots down the stretch when we needed them (12 pts, 6 assists, 5 rebs, and 0 TOs).

Our offense was actually pretty decent in the 2nd half; I think the big thing with Hoff at the PG is he keeps his head up, gets it across mid court, gets the ball moving with a quick pass to the wing or post, and we get quality movement. Also, he can find the open man and gets it to him on time, in a position to score.

Everyone stepped up their game tonight, and we came away with a big, B10 road win. Haven't beat Michigan in quite some time.

Hoping Nolen's foot is just a tweak, we're going to need him.

Michigan's offense

Michigan's offense under Bielin has always given us fits. They have tons of deep shooters and they are good at the back door. So if you play them tight to take away the 3 they go back door on you. But they lost their two best players in Sims and Harris.

In the same way that Northwestern's zone has given us fits in the past, I think this offense does to our defense.
