My wife, daughter and I attended the recent game as UNLV fans. I am pleased to report that Gopher fans could not have been nicer. For example: 1) it was hot at game time and a woman, seeing that we had a young daughter (8 years old), approached us and offered us 3 empty seats next to hers that were in the shade. 2) At the end of the game another lady earnestly thanked us for visiting Minnesota. 3) Everyone was friendly, including the staff at the Commons Hotel. Made me proud to be a native Minnesotan. I have read several comments here about people upset with Gopher coaches for lack of creativity, etc. I would be happy, it reminded me of the Wacker days when we would greatly out gain teams by 180+ yards and lose. The Gophers made big plays and won, enjoy the victory. Now let;s go get NMSU!
