As I was driving in today, according to WCCO we are looking at a high today of 96 and dewpoints around 70 in Minneapolis.

According to wunderground weather, the game day high temp Thursday for Murf is 94 with dewpoints in the high 50's or low 60's.

So, this leaves the obvious question:

How will the Gophers adjust to the cooler temps and dry air?

;)

I'm really glad you brought this up.

Accuweather predicts game time temperature to feel like 85 degrees. Hopefully the TN folk have some mittens.

Perhaps some kind hearted Gopher fans traveling to the game would be willing to bring a few boxes of "choppers" to hand out to the TN fans.

Weather for Thursday... High 94. Low 69. Humidity 50%. Wind WSW at 7mph during day. UV Index: 9=Very High. Average High 86. Record High 99 (1953). Sunset estimated at 7:12pm. Humidity at night 63%. Wind W at 4 mph at night. 10% Chance of Precipitation all day.

I just hope the weather is good in Minneapolis that night for the viewing party.

In other words, the game will be played in weather conditions pretty much like they are right now in Minneapolis. Maybe even less humid. Note to MTSU fans, we don't have permafrost here.

It will cool off considerably by gametime here, but the team will be used to hot and humid weather. No need to turn on the sauna in the indoor practice facility.

And if the weather conditions really did make all that much difference, we should get some of these teams up here for a November game.

Does anyone else think the weather will be explosive?

I'm going to be dressing in layers...
