Change head coaches. I would want

someone who has plenty of proven potential and is on his way up rather someone who has had a good past record, out of a job, (pro or college) except Dungy and is looking for a fairly decent salary until retirement and is on his way down. I except Dungy from that statement because his reason/motivation would be entirely different.

If we could do this and the new coach is very successful here and so what if he goes elsewhere for a job/salary that we could not match. Our program would now be able to successful.

Just my thought
 

I'd be listening to what other coaches and ADs are saying. See who they think is going to make it on the next level. Oh, I wouldn't listen to a word from our neighbors to the south or the east, but then again, I never do.
