We could have won this game if we had even an average day shooting from the outside. We just didn't knock down any jump shots. When you consider that Illinois is 23-6, that is quite impressive, but we were with them all night long on the road.
I was pretty pleased with what I saw tonight for the first 3/4's of the game. I liked our defense and how we owned the boards. We need to cut down on the turn overs and prepare for Wisconsin at home. I predict that we win out from here and win one more in the BTT.
