Illinois QB Wes Lunt expected to miss 4-6 wks w/ leg fracture. Likely to miss MN game

Huge for us. I was just a little nervous about Illinois just because of Lunt but now I have absolutely zero fears about the Illini if he misses that game. Was a top 4-5 QB in the conference IMO. 1,570 yards, 13 TDs, 3 INTs and a 66% completion percentage in five games. I think Purdue might the harder game because of this.

Bad to worse in Champaign. I got my tickets to the MN game for $11 each on stubhub a couple weeks ago. I imagine I bought too soon...
 



15,700 yards in 5 games? My God.
 


I hope Lunt gets cleared the day after we play. Before we get too excited, let's focus on NW and then Purdue.

I am heading down also and looking forward to it. I am not sure if I am going to use stubhub or just buy down there. I used stubhub last year at Northwestern so maybe that is the way to go. Heading down Friday morning and staying in Bloomington. Not too far away for that 11 am start. I hope to see lot of gold heading down I94/39.

Me as well, I thought they'd be the toughest of the next three opponents because of Lunt and his ability to throw the forward pass.
This eases tensions on that and NW is not the frontrunner with their momentum mumbo-jumbo...
 

Is their coach getting ripped for playing him well after he had a noticeable limp?

It wasn't the limp that people are mad about it's that Morris got rocked and couldn't even stand up straight. It was obvious he was showing signs of a concussion, which he was later diagnosed with.
