Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but any best guesses on the Illinois game time? Or any sense of when it may be announced?

Should be announced on Monday. Most think it will be 11am. There are a lot of big games in the conference that week I believe.

Only 3 days to wait, but why not just blindly guess for fun! See above. Can they still schedule night games this late? If so, move OSU-MSU to 7 pm ABC and MICH-PSU to 2:30. Could also see a 2:30 BTN game.

Nope. Night games have to be set before the season start. So OSU/MSU can't be a night game.

Wrong.

This was changed a few years ago, when they began to allow November night games. I will be shocked is that isn't the ABC "Saturday Night Football" game, kicking off at 7:00 CT.

Wrong.

They can schedule games at night in November. They have to be scheduled before the season starts.

Hope you're shocked when you turn on the TV and the game is over.

Post a link, or you're wrong.

This was changed a few years ago. November night games used to be outlawed as well. Things change. World keeps on spinnin'.

No need for a link. That is different thought. just beacuse they change the rule for no Nov night games, mean nothing. the Night games still have to be set before the season start. No game or games during the season that is not a night game, cannot be scheduled for night. Sorry but you have no clue on this at all.

So the Gopher/IL game has been moved to a night game?

Yes. And it's now in December.

About time this game got the attention it deserves....

This will be the most replayed Minnesota-Illinois game since the classic 1996 clash that often finds itself on BTN Classics....

According to the Gopher Football twitter account, we won't find out until after the Iowa game.

Gophersfan is correct. The Big Ten is unlike the other conferences and schedules all of its night games ahead of the season with no room at all for flexibility. Not only can the Big Ten not move a game to prime time, it can't remove one from prime time either. Once the Big Ten's prime time schedule comes out in April, it's set in stone. Given the way our season has fallen short of expectations, we'd have lost a prime time game or two in this Michigan/Ohio State/Iowa stretch had the conference and its broadcast partners possessed the ability to make changes. For that matter, we'd have likely picked up a prime time game or two last season if the Big Ten and the networks had the power to flex the schedule. The Illinois game will likely be at 11:00 CT unless it goes to 2:30 CT on BTN as part of a larger plan to split the bigger games between the two timeslots instead of piling the lesser games into the early spot and the big games into the late afternoon window.

LOL, ok. I guess I'll just take your word for it. You have so much credibility built up, why not.

And why are we supposed to just take your word for it? You ask for link to prove the other way, maybe you should prove a link that proves you right.

Hard to imagine not being at 11.

We've had a great run at afternoon and evening games.

May not see the likes of this again for some time.
