Has anyone noticed what type of recruiting class that Ron Zook is putting together at Illinois? For a guy who is a "great recruiter", he is STRUGGLING. He has a TOTAL of nine commits. Two of those are visiting other schools this weekend. Two other verbals visited other schools within the last few weeks. If he loses any or all of them, he's in trouble.

Tim Brewster has officially lost the Gophers fans that were behind him and everyone is calling for him to be fired. The majority of fans want the U to go after Tony Dungy, as he is a passionate alum and is technically available. Do you see Brewster being fired, and do you think Dungy would accept the position if offered to him?

Not everyone is calling for Brewster to be fired. In fact, I'll bet there is a "silent majority" who doesn't spend all their time whining and complaining that still support him - at least until we see how his recruits turn out next year. As is normal with boards like GH, it is the small (and small-minded) group of negatoids that make the most noise.

That is Hilarious!! We produce maybe 4 to 5 good High School players a year. We could not win 1 game with a roster filled entirely of Minnesota Kids.

My son is a minnesota high school football player and you insulted him me and all my family.
 

Dungy isn't coming... get over it, or at least get some new material. He's making good money doing what he does on NBC and he has plenty of time for family, charities and his other projects.
 

I am sorry but it is true. Who is a game changer or big time athlete besides Henderson, Gjere, Edwards, Okuyemi, and Allen? and truthfully I think that only 3 of these can be great, 2 only serviceable.
 

Dungy coaching the U talk is getting as old as talking about bringing back Mason. Sure Id love Dungy to come coach Minnesota but that isnt going to happen. More coaching changes is the last thing this team needs.

They beat Brewster in his first year, when was the second win? I don't remember it.
