EDIT: thoughts on the game as well. Spencer tollakson tweeted this after:

@STollackson50 Illinois beat O State. Minnesota had Illinois beat just a few weeks ago... Gophers will be fine. In Tubby we trust!”

Also good for MN if they beat Illinois at home. Makes it a much more quality win.
 

i don't really judge schools and their fans for rushing a court or a football field. if the kids and other fans in attendance have fun with it, then so be it. nothing wrong with having fun in life. not everything needs to be analysed or critiqued.
 

By the transitive property, we also beat OSU! We're 1-4!!!
 

This OSU team has a lot of growing up to do. They haven't been very good at guarding the 3 on the road this year. But every loss is an opportunity to grow from and correct things you might have overlooked before. :)

I will say craft defended the last 3 by Paul about as well as humanly possible. He played out of his mind.

I think OSU will miss Diebler, but are still easily the best team in the B1G.

Also, I believe the announcers said there were no bench points in this game.

I think they shouldn't have put Craft on Paul in the first place. He doesn't play big enough to really affect that shot. Who do you think Jordan Taylor was torching when the Badgers beat OSU last year? Craft. He's not hard to shoot over if you have size. Craft was the wrong guy to switch on Paul. That's one of the things OSU needs to do - find a guy who will force a guy like Paul out of his comfort zone. They didn't do that today, and that's why they lost. Craft shouldn't be trying to guard wings with size that can shoot like Paul. But really the whole team struggled guarding him/the 3-point arc. So OSU has some problems defensively that they will need to work on.
