I know its not this simple, but look at Illinois home games versus road games:

Home
Illinois State - W: 45-17
Penn State - L: 17-35
Michigan State - L: 14-24
Michigan - W: 38-13
Record: 2-2
Average Illini points: 28.5 (excluding Ill St. = 23)

On the Road
Mizzou (neutral site) - L: 9-37
Ohio State - L: 0-30
Indiana - L: 14-27
Purdue - L: 14-24
Record: 0-4
Average Illini points: 9.25

I know the home & road schedules are not "apples-to-apples," but it does appear that Illinois offense functions much better at home. Lets hope that their road woes continue at The Bank.

Rah.

Let's also hope that their win on Saturday had more to do with Michigan's season imploding than Illinois being on the rise...

Illinois is a very dangerous team at this point in the season. Terrible record, ton of talent, nothing to loose, and starting to play better.

Ditto...if the Gs take a day-off...a snooze...they're going down. After the euphoria of the big MSU win, another key test of Brew's HCing ability to get his guys ready.

No doubt Brew will have his dad gum chili hot. Thats a given, especially against Illinois. Question is whether his players will or not. Im thinking they will.... the players really do play hard for their coach... and the Illini game each year will always be for Brew. I feel that the Illinois game last year was the peak of preparedness for that team. I anticipate the same this year.

Would be great if Brew keeps them "peaking" right through the bowl season!

Illinios is coming off a great performance. Brew needs to get the boys ready to play on Saturday!
