When we canned Brew, I thought that he might try to develop a resume that would build toward another shot at a head coaching job (at a lower level) some day. Maybe try to find a job that would eventually lead to calling plays someplace so that he'd be better prepared if the opportunity ever presented itself again. Obviously, he was more interested in recruiting and working as a TE coach for as many different schools as possible. Too bad, I would have been eager to follow that effort since, good or bad, it would have been entertaining to see him back in charge somewhere. Oh, well.
