No doubt in my mind the 4 best teams in the country were Ohio State, Kansas, Duke, and maybe Uconn as the 4th. One thing I love about college football, though the BCS can be pretty messed up at times....you never get a team that is simply mediocre playing in the final game.
Butler beat VCU (a team that could have easily missed the tourney), Florida (one of the weaker 2 seeds in recent memory resume wise), Wisconsin (who forgot to show up and was on pace for about 40 points with 5 minutes left), Pitt (a 1 seed, but a team that lost 4 of its last 8 games with two of the wins coming against South Florida and UNC Ashville),and ODU (beat a 9 seed at the buzzer).
Great coaching job by BS. He took what was like a team that was in the 30-40 range in terms of talent and brought them to the final 2.
