My six are gone. Who else just can't stand monetarily support (through season tickets) this mediocrity??

I mean we don't even consider a guy like Mike Leach, and we just settle for some guy whos high level of success was losing in the MAC championship. Absolutely fuc&ing hilarious.
 

You already dropped your tickets? Is the Kill/Chryst news official?

i think its predicated on the news being true bleed.

i would wager a large chunk of renewals never happen if its a lame duck hire like kill or chryst

Not renewing before seeing the results on the field is ridiculous. At least wait until after the spring game to see what the coach can do, regardless of who it is.
 


I'll say that if Kill or Chryst get hired renewals will be fine. Most season ticket holders are loyal long time fans.

I totally get the plight of season ticket holders.

Season ticket holders especially, along with the rest of the fans, deserve and explanation as to why Leach was never considered.
 





Either Chryst or Kill will lead me to dump my two and my buddy who sits with me's two. You didn't get Leach or Belotti, and you instead settled on some retreads. I have no need to fund those kind of decisions. I'll work on keeping Big Ten Network alive instead...

You could have had your pick of season tickets this year, you don't need me (and many others I assume) to dump theirs after some 10th/11th/12th pick of a HC is settled on.

If we hire Kill/Chryst that stadium is 75% full next year. MAX
 



Its a rumor folks... anyway, this fun ride will come to a complete stop soon. Please keep your seat belts fastened until it comes to a complete stop though.

Clearly I'm assuming this news is true. Can you really not figure that out???

This is coming from the guy who referenced a thread from the Utah board titled "rumors" and suggested it to others even though it had nothing to do with MN and he hadn't read it.

I heard a rumor that Mike Leach was arrogant and unclassy at the Insight Bowl meltdown a few years ago. If you were a boss of a company and you met me a few years ago and I was disrespectul to you and ran my mouth. Then I got fired from my job, eventhough I was successful at it, would you give me a interview?
 

I've been sitting thru mostly bad football for 6 years in the old Brick Yard, 20 some years in the dumpy dome, and both years in our nice new stadium. I think we should all take a deep breath and give who ever is hired a chance to show what he can do.
 

If it is kill they hard better reduce the price because hopefully he works for free because 30,000 a game won't pay the rent.

Dude, it was easy enough already. No waiting needed. That's why I have no problem dropping the tickets. Someday if they get a proper coach in here, I can start up again, no waiting. That's what is nice about this school...

Wouldn't Leach and Belotti be retreads?
 

You can subract 6 tickets in the premium section if Kill is hired. I agree with most of you that I am not funding this futility anymore. You promised a home run and a "Tubby" like hire and you give us this. I want a reason why Leach was not given a chance to at least interview. I will just scalp tickets instead and buy a full Twin's season ticket package with my savings. Go Gophers and I hope this is all just a rumor.

You'll be crazy if you renew. Street value for USC was $30, UNI $15, OSU $20. Why pay for season tickets when you can sit next to season ticket holders at half the price?

Retreads? At least be correct with your descriptions when you have a temper tantrum. Both are the opposite of a retread.

That's the sort of thing that makes you wonder if they bosses were aholes and had it coming...
 

If Kill and Chryst are hired

I will seriously consider not renewing. One reason is we probably could have hired either one of these guys two weeks ago and got ahead on recruiting. Which brings me to my second point. How is Kill or Chryst going to sell the program to new recruits? We going to have, at best, another Glen Mason-type coach.

OOOOH, that get's me really excited.

What a joke if true.

BTW, Joe Schmidt has been wrong during this whole process. Nobody has been right.

My bad. I meant retreads in terms of the same sort of coaches we always hire. Guy's that had some limited success at smaller schools or guys who have no experience of ever running an entire program. Neither excite me.
