... in tonight's game. I remember how folks would (softly) complain about Tubby using a lot/too many players in last year's games and making substitutions at "odd" times (their term, not mine).

Tonight, our bench essentially made the difference. Hoffarber and Joseph played 35 and 27 minutes respectively ... Iverson and Carter also played a decent amount of time.

Some interesting numbers:

Starters
Minutes: 102
Points: 36
Rebounds: 14
Assists: 5
Steals: 8
Blocks: 4
Turnovers: 11

Subs
Minutes: 98
Points: 46
Rebounds: 17
Assists: 7
Steals: 1
Blocks: 2
Turnovers: 6

How many teams, when facing a team ranked tenth in the country, could boast this kind of balance. I mean, we were practically anointing Rodney Williams the next Michael Jordan after the three games and he played a whopping three minutes tonight. I would like to reiterate my proclamation that, particularily if they ever get to full strength, they are as deep as any team in the country.

Rick Mons...Didn't you know that GH'ers know more than Tubby? Sheesh, you are so naive.
