STAY WITH ME ON THIS ONE

How many of you remember the Ms. Budweiser racing boat Hydroplane class racing in the unlimited division? The big jump at first was when this class started using the Roles Royce Merlin v-12 engines used in the P-51 Mustang and Spitfire fighters of World War 2

Because the Anheuser Corporation was backing the Ms. Budweiser racing boat it had plenty of money to dump into the hull and engine drive design.

When the latter Ms. Budweiser was designed it switched to a Jet Engen turbo shaft destine turning its propeller. Once this happened all the other V-12 Hydroplane racing boats could not come close to beating the Ms. Budweiser.


I think your program is going to jump from the V-12 to this next year.

In addition I think the Gophers should the abbreviation JP-8 on the sides of the 10 gallon Gatorade coolers. JP-8 is what the US military uses as fuel in their jet fighters and bombers.

The US Navy turbine jet propulsion destroyers and non nuclear propulsion cruisers use it also in keeping with the boat theme.

Man you got to love this idea- OR NOT!

2 of the reasons I like the Gophers are their FBS fans and that your HC, Staff and players have turned Minnesota into winners in 3 years. I'd much rather pull for the Gophers over Clemson or Alabama who have a golden spoon up there @$$.
