To act like an unappreciative Kentucky fan and you should too. Tubby knows what he is doing. He took Monson recruits+ Joseph, RSII, and Iverson and turned them into a 20 win team overnight. The past 2 years have been unlucky to say the least. Tubby had to take a chance with White. What would that say about himself if he couldnt get one of the most talented recruits from Minnesota in the last decade to play for him. Unfortunately it didn't work out. Cobbs and PC transfered. If Mbakwe comes back to play next year, it might be a good thing he sat out last year. The Devoe transfer was a little suprising. The injury to Mo Walker sucked, because he was looking like a real offensive contributor. And the injury to Al is by far the worst thing to happen to us this season. All in all the last two seasons have been frustrating, but we have been ranked consistently throughout the two years even with all of the different issues. Be happy that Gopher basketball is back on the map and the season isn't over yet. Get well soon Al.

Agreed. We don't have ANYTHING Kentucky has accomplished, or hell, even what scUM or Notre Dame has accomplished in football. Only our hockey team comes close to this attitude.

I refuse to get bent out of shape this season. Injuries aren't anyone's fault.

One could argue Tubby has gotten far more out of Monson's recruits (Nolen, Hoffarber, Westbrook, D Johnson, McKenzie, Tollackson & Coleman) than his own. It's year 4 and how many of his own recruits match the output of that group? 2? Sampson & Mbwakwe?

In many ways, the 2008 results (20 W) mostly with players who were 9-22 in 2007 were good.

The 2009 and particularly 2010 results were also good but less than I expected (both years).

2011 isn't over (yet).
