We should easily blowout South Dakota. Idaho blew out North Dakota 45-0 and we are better than Idahao and South Dakota is worse than North Dakota. With Bennet and Hoese running and Adam being more comfortable with his new talented receiving corps, the Gophers can score at will, I'll predict a 56-3 gopher win.

I don't think our game plan lends well to a blowout. I do think we'll dominate and I do think we'll get plenty of work in for our depth.

MTSU had the speed to catch our running backs after they blew big holes, kept a big gain from going all the way to the house. If we get runs like these against USD, there's a better chance of taking them all the way.

USD has never had much of a football tradition. UND is a hockey school, as most Gopher fans know. These two schools should have stayed in Division II. I guess they were trying to keep up with SDSU and NDSU, but they never have and probably will when it comes to football. Smaller universities should focus on the sports they are good at, in my opinion, and put little or nothing in the others.

That would be sweet.

In 2001 UND won the NCAA division 2 National championship.

If We Beat The Yotes By 40 . . .

Can we use some of that to go back and re-write the saddest episode in Gopher history from '07?

Didn't think so . . . oh, well . . .

I hope the entire 2-deep squads get a lot of PT. It's time to crush one of these D-2 (yes, they're still D-2 to me) teams, and save some energy for the following week.

It won't erase the past, but it will make a statement that the past IS the past.

To redeem myself I'm predicting Gophers to upset USC by at least a touchdown. USC will probably be looking past Gophers and Gophers will play extra hard to show last week was fluke. Gophers are very talented team and will shock the nation. Go Gophers!

Ever the optomist but I think most will disagree with you. If the only thing you are basing your prediction on is how hard we will play then I still can't see us beating them.

for some reason I just seem to envision Nelson from The Simpson's laughing at this post...

Redeem? Seriously? You think posting that the Gophers will upset USC (never gonna happen) will redeem your post about blowing out a FCS team that whipped the Gophers up and down the field last Saturday? Really?

Sadly, I doubt any redemption will be had with this post.

USC is going to donkey-punch the Gophers Saturday night, and FYI...that's not a good thing.

Team is a joke

But they still could beat us, are football team should probably be on there level right now

How'd that work out last Saturday?
