The Massy ratings, cover power ratings, team rankings predictions etc. that come mostly from computer computations. There are however 65 polls that are computer and however the poll is created.

I like it because you can look at 65 different polls just for fun. It also gives the predictions for your next game. How often the Massy Predictions are correct I really don't know although they do have a page that gives that info. I just like to scan it for fun.

There must be a lot of weight on points for and against and games against ranked teams. Both Nebraska and Iowa have 2-3 games where they blew out their opponents and narrow losses to ranked teams. Albany, Akron, UMass and Houston Christian maybe have 5 wins combined have about the same win total as Buffalo and Northwestern St.

Iowa, despite a uni-dimensional offense, is scoring several more points per game than the Gophers. The betting line's low over-under, combined with the big spread in Iowa's favor, means that bettors currently believe in Iowa focus, discipline and opportunistic play, and have their doubts about Minnesota ability to put up meaningful points (one lucky game?). Screw the spead. As with the 7.5 to 9.5 spread in favor of Nebraska, this is a game that the Gophers can win, perhaps convincingly, if they start out prepared and aware (a big if in the sweep of PJ's history with the Gophers), and play another aggressive, physical, fearless and COMPLETE game--ideally, with a balanced and creative offense that keeps Iowa's superb defense guessing and tentative. Go Gophers!
