...Wilson went 16-for-17!!!!!!!!!!! Are you joking me? I have never heard of anything like that. Honestly, that looks like a state line from a video game. 16-for-17, unreal...almost bizarre.

What type of throws was he making? Who was he abusing, besides Henderson, because I'm sure he abused Henderson (he's not a very good CB but a hard worker).

16-for-17

His only incompletion was arguably pass interference, too, in my book. Toon got injured on the play and borderline dropped to pass.

Wilson is good. The Gophers secondary is not. They did seem to be targeting Henderson, it was not his best game.

Did I hear correctly that Russell Wilson is taking only one course at Wisconsin? If so, he's not pursuing a degree and he was a whore for football hire when he went to the Badgers. The NCAA should NOT allow kids to transfer without waiting out a year if they are not continuing to go to school.

The Badgers got ridiculously lucky in getting Wilson to go to their school, and I'm still elated that those idiots lost two games, because they shouldn't have.

Wilson already graduated from NC State. That is why he could transfer without sitting a year. My recollection is that one must be a "full time" student in order to be eligible to play a sport. As an undergrad, full time typically equated to 12 hours (ie 4 classes) as a grad student, i think 6 hours (2 classes) is the minimum to be full time. This is just my understanding and may not be correct.

They should NOT be able to transfer without sitting out a year (unless a highly-regarded student athlete wants to come to Minnesota for grad student; then its OK).

Wisconsin has a superior football reputation, and yes, got lucky with Wilson. But years of success put the program in position to attract athletes like Wilson.

bingo! this kid has been an obvious becky troll from his very first post on GH. this thread of his is nothing but an attempt to flame. claims he didn't watch the game, but seems to know a lot of the little details. sure buddy.....sure. move on.

Yup. He may claim to be neutral, but he does nothing but take pot shots at the Gophers football and basketball teams. He probably didn't see the game because he was too busy watching Royce White.

I'm not going to get on the Badgers because they played by the rules in getting Wilson (who is a great kid), but it's a really goofy rule.

And before some Becky troll comes in and says I'd sing a different tune if he had transferred to Minnesota, I would respond that I still think the rule is stupid.

Why are people so mean on the internet?

So let me get this straight. You're free to mercilessly rip the teams of which you're a "fan", including picking on amateur athletes, and yet when someone calls you what you are, that's suddenly out of bounds? Sound about right?
