But when I checked my Direct TV guide for CBS Sports Network HD channel 613, the offering for Thursday, August 30th at 10 PM is PBR Rodeo. I called Direct and they said while CBS Network shows it will be the Gophers vs UNLV they have not updated that programmning with Direct. Hopefully they will get this corrected soon.
On another front, my DVR picked up FOXSports North schedule to broadcast Gopher Football with Jerry Kill, Wednesday, August 29th at 6:00 PM.

For anyone going to a bar to watch the game: I wonder if the 10:00 PM start time will be an issue for bars and restaurants that close at 1:00? It would suck to get settled in to watch a game and then midway through the fourth quarter get kicked out due to closing time. Not many Gopher games get done within 3 hours.

For me, I'm heading up to the cabin right after work on Thursday. I'll pull in around 9:00 PM. There BETTER not be any direcTV issues with CBSsports as I double checked this past weekend that I can get it there at the cabin, and I can. Will miss HD but I am looking forward to MG throwing a touchdown from right to left just as a loon fires up a call through the window directly to the left of the TV.

Crap. I didn't realize that it was that late of a game. I probably didn't need to take work off. Haha.

The bar closing is a big concern now. I'll have to buzz up the local BWW and check. They've always been good to me and my Gopher sporting fixes.

As of Today, Direct TV has CBS Sports Network Channel 613 set for UNLV vs. Minnesota. I did notice they have the UCLA vs Rice game from i think 7-10. I may take that in to see how Mora Jr. is doing with The Bruins.
