I Inadvertently Eavesdropped At Halftime In The Lobby

There was a traffic jam in the narrow lobby with the alumni walking out of the 101 entrance and people wanting to talk to them. I was stuck at a standstill right next to Royce White's grandfather who was wearing a black Richfield Rec. Dept. shirt. He was standing against the wall having a conversation with someone about Royce. I heard him say that he hoped Royce would be playing next week and the last words I heard as the lobby opened up, was about him having talked to Coach Smith at Christmas... Then I was out of earshot.
