What will Brewster's next job be if he is let go by the U?

This is flawed. He will end up as a positions coach at a D2 school.

Can only have 10 options in the poll, so I went with what I figured was the most likely spectrum.

I would say Positions coach is more likely than head coach anywhere. But that's just my own opinion.

Preferably somewhere with great force.

UW-River Falls will be looking for a coach...of course, they will probably have more qualified candidates than Brewster.

He will secure a position as a greeter at an off-the-strip Vegas Casino. He will live a similar somber life to what Joe Lewis and Sonny Liston endured. Patrons will solicit his take on college football games and he will respond that any pick is "outstanding" and "tremendous"

It's a trick question.

The answer is: "He won't need to work another day in his life because college sports makes entry-level applicants automatic millionaires."

I based my answer on

. . .the idea that I think he would like to be a BCS HC at some point again. Going back to a position coaching role does not get it done.

I am guessing that an FCS team would take him on as coordinator. HC? Possible but unlikely.

I don't believe he will ever be a head coach again at the major college level. He has done nothing to deserve another shot and he's too old (in relative terms) to get to another program and show his worth as a solid coordinator for 5-10 years before getting another job. He should become a director of recruiting at some school and maybe show his worth.

I think he'd end up being a recruiting coordinator for an FBS program. Probably end up with Mack Brown again.

Agreed. I don't know that his ego would allow him to accept it.

I was thinking something similar to what Vinny Cerrato did when he followed Holtz to Notre Dame. Cerrato was younger then than Brewster is now, but I think a position like that is where his qualities would serve him and his employer best.

9 choices, pick 1. I picked none of the 9. My choice could be #10, and that is "I don't give a $hit".

He would get a position coach gig at some BCS conference program. He does have some recruiting skills.

This would be my first choice as well, but I said NFL position coach. That way, he won't have to make any relevant decisions, which would be best for everybody involved.

I think the Obama administration should consider hiring him as econcomic press secretary. We desperately need to hear about how tremendous things are just around the corner and the outlook for next year is outstanding. It's also important to note that we are light-years ahead of where the guy who preceded us left things.

Maybe Brewster would get some kind of NFL front office gig. Who knows. It's just a feeling. I don't think Brewster's ego could handle being a position coach again and he has zero chance of being a coordinator.
