per the World Herald:

Nebraska is preparing for size and a no-nonsense approach this week with the Minnesota offense.

“The physicality of their play is what’s really impressive,” NU defensive coordinator Mark Banker said Monday.

The Huskers travel to Minneapolis for a 2:30 p.m. game Saturday with the Gophers. Although Minnesota struggled offensively to start the season, it produced a season-high 326 rushing yards at Purdue on Saturday, including 234 in the second half.

“They do a lot,” NU assistant coach Hank Hughes said. “They run a lot of different plays. They give you a lot to prepare for. And they’re physical, and they’re big.”

WOW------all the gopher holers think they run the same play everytime. I wonder if this guy knows what he is talking about.

He doesn't! The reason Riley is at Nebraska was that he refused the AD's and University's president ultimatum to fire this guy. He had become the lightning rod with the fans. He can usually do ok against an old style pro style attack but never seemed to grasp how to defend a spread attack with a running QB. Check out some Husker boards to see how they like him.

I don't think the gophers "run the same play everytime".

At the same time I'm not sure you want to lean on coach speak too much. Keep in mind every coach coming to MN during the Brewster era bused out some compliments for Tim too......

I thought everybody was saying that our offense hadn't been physical until last week, but opposing coaches keep saying how physical were are. I guess the don't read Gopherhole.
