Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss has offered 246 scholarships for the class of 2013

The reason why Freeze does not know the overall number is that he's not directly involved with every offer that goes out. The offensive and defensive staffs meet and if everyone is in agreement on a player, they have the freedom to start the process.

"I have great trust in Dave (Wommack) and Matt Luke and Dan Werner and those guys," Freeze said. "They talk through it and if it's a split room and they're not sure, then I get called in. ... If he's got Alabama and Ohio State (offers) and we like him on tape, pull the trigger."
