How does Davis know what he talking about. he said Wisconsin can beat anyone in the big ten. hahahahaha.

Did you watch WI against NC State tonight? If not, you may have had the same opinion as WI was up about 40 at one point.

NC state is overrated. flashy freshman players hardly= good team, ask North carolina. but i still give wisky props they looked good tonight. Onward B10! this proves how good we are if we can lay a goose egg and still win the challenge

I think Wisconsin will finish around 5th in the Big Ten, but I don't think there is any doubt they can beat anyone in the conference at home. They're just crazy good at Kohl Center.

but they are not good on the road, and that will tell the tale

Everyone is crazy good when they're playing 8 on 5. :cool02:

Yea I can see it now when the gophers play there Mbakwe will get two quick phantom fouls in the first five min and be in foul trouble all game.

Wisconsin can beat anyone in the BT. There are 7 BT teams that CAN potentially beat any team in the conference

Actually, when at home, I'd say all 11 teams can beat any of the others (potentially). I think even Iowa will win 3-4 Big Ten games (of course they all could come against PSU, Mich, etc). But, I would not be shocked to see IND or MICH or PSU or IA beat one of the top 5 Big Ten teams a time or two. In fact, I expect it will happen. Just hope the Gophers can avoid being that team.

Wisconsin has strengths and weaknesses just like everyone else in the Big Ten. They have the best forwards as far as shooting and creating their own shots are concerned. They do not have the bulk and strength in the middle. Taylor penentrates and shoots the mid range jumper. The guards are not great three point shooters though.

Minnesota should match up against Wisconsin pretty well.

I think Wisconsin poses a big match up problem for the Gophers. Their big guys can step outside and consistantly score from there. Minn. doesn't seem to have any answer for this.

Their offense runs hot and cold but, they seem to be on track now.

Digger still a babbling fool

He gets talking so fast he has no clue what he's saying, or what his point is. Did anyone hear him refer to Kalin Lucas as "Lucious Allen" last night?

Correct. He is basically incoherent. It's amazing how bad he is. Words come out of his mouth, but he says absolutely nothing.

Well, yeah, technically every team can beat every team. But let's be honest here, what are the chances that a team like Iowa or Michigan beats OSU or MSU? I'm just saying that it wouldn't be that big of a shock for any of the top 7 teams to beat anyone in the conference on any given night. Basically, it wouldn't be a fluke for those teams to do it, but it would be for some others.

You can also say they don't have an answer for our athleticism and size/strength.

We're talking about the same Wisconsin team that looked and played soft against UNLV? Wow.

Not true. Teams that are truly Sweet 16 & beyond caliber will sweep several teams in the Big Ten this season. PSU is hapless. Iowa is not very good. UM and Purdue are very inconsistent offensively. Indiana is once again bad defensively. All of those teams will be swept by at least one of the top teams in the Big Ten this season. It's hard to win at Wisconsin, at Minnesota, at MSU. But that doesn't mean the bottom teams can beat anybody just because they're playing at home.

I'm not saying it will happen every weekend. Jeez, I'm just saying the potential is there for a top team to lose to a bottom feeder. Potentially. I'd expect IA or PSU or IU to lose all of their games to the top teams, but I also realize there is potential that they might beat one of the top 4 teams in the league at some point. Clearly, I wasn't implying they'd ALL beat them in ALL of their home games. It might only happen once amongst the entire group. I'm simply saying the potential is there for an OSU/MSU/PU/ILL/MN to lose on the road at a bottom feeder, especially if they sleep walk. Heck, OSU nearly lost at Iowa last year (probably should have) and OSU was a Big Ten champ. MN lost at IU last year. MSU lost at IA 2 years ago.

Technically ... any team in any conference could possibly beat any other team in any other conference ... isn't that why they play the games?
