How will you greet fellow Gopher fans on the Las Vegas strip?
 


I always use SKI-U-MAH. Walking through the Frankfurt airport last year just after we beat Iowa, I saw an guy and his two kids wearing Gopher gear. They were locals, but originally from NW Minnesota. It took the guy a second to figure out what I said but that started a 25 minute recap of the game and a beer celebrating Floyd's stay for 1 more year!
 

I always use the Ski-U-Mah when I see someone in the Gear! It is our unique chant and as others on the board have articulated-it should be used a lot more!
 

"How much did you lose on the tables last night"? Oh yes, and the oblgatory "F" Becky.......

He is going to use the line "Hi I'm goldyspop and I am giving away my daughters hand in marriage this weekend." Followed by, "No you knucklehead, that's my wife!!" Free beers for everyone!!!!
 






Disappointing so far

Yesterday at the restaurant in the Golden Nugget I greeted some some fans with a Ski-U-Mah and they just looked at me. Now I don't know if they were hung over or don't get it, but we really need to step it up. Come on fans, we have about 36 hours to make it happen!
 




Greeted a gopher fan at Hoover dam today, (saw several there BTW) with a loud Go Gophers out my car window. Got a sheepish thumbs up response. Better than nothing, I guess. We need to get a swagger in our $ss, don't you think?

Was on the Strip last night. Saw many Gopher fans who were quite enthusiastic-Ski U Mah is alive and well! Let's bring it tonight folks!
