'Just killing time between now and next week!

There are fifteen commits and possibly six scholarships left for the 2016 Gopher Edition.

The 2016 commits to date are bold-faced below(hope no one flips or fail to qualify), and the 2015 signees are in parenthesis.

Commitment prospects that have been mentioned are listed with question marks.

Anyone dare to make a prediction on how the remaining scholarships will be filled?

2016 Quarterback (2015 Demry Croft):
Tony Poljan

2016 Runningback (2015 Jonathan Femi-Cole, James Johannesson, Shannon Brooks, Colton Beebe-FB):
Martell Pettaway?

2016 Wide Receiver (2015 Hunter Register, Rashad Still):
Phillip Howard
Dredrick Snelson
Drew Hmielewski

2016 Tight End (Bryce Witham):
Albert Okwuegbunam?

2016 Offensive Lineman (2015 Bronson Dovich, Ted Stieber, Nick Connelly, Quinn Oseland, Tyler Moore:

2016 Defensive End (2015 Winston DeLattiboudere):
Tralund Webber
Terrell Lucas?

ElijahDaniels

If there are only 6 spots left, these 6 would work for me:

1-Martell Pettaway-RB
2-Walvenski Aime-DT
3-Vincent Calhoun-OG
4-Antoine Winfield Jr-CB
5-Tyler Johnson-DB
6-Albert Okwuegbunam-TE

I think they are sitting pretty good with Calhoun and Johnson. Seeing as Pettaway is visiting, I'm guessing he's not solid with West Virginia. Aime had a good visit, I have to believe Minnesota is in the lead for him. At this point, with his current offers, I suspect that Winfield has Minnesota in the lead, although I'm guessing more offers are probably forthcoming for him. I added Okwuegbunam because I think they would really like to add a TE and I don't know of any others on their radar, they'll have their work cut out with him though as it sounds like he really likes Michigan State.

A slight quibble with your list Beebe has already been shifted to TE and needs to be considered there. Calhoun will fill out a class inbalance so he's a lock to be taken if available. I believe that Tyler Johnson projects as a safety if he commits we're done there. Here's what I think the breakdown will be.
OL 1 only if it'a Calhoun
RB 1 because of the large number taken last year
QB done
TE 2
WR done unless Howard projects to CB then 1
DT 2
S 1
CB 1
I believe that projects to 23 which is the number I've heard

I see from the GH interview that Martin says athlete. Then says TE, WR or S. Not very helpful in filling out your list. :D

I'm no recruiting authority, but I think that we over stock the TE position. I would rather give more scholarships to RB's or wide receivers, hoping that one of them is or becomes a threat to score every time they touch the ball. My 2cents.

I'd add TE Kyle Fortenberry to the list. Also think we take 2 more DEs, Terrell Lucas being one of them and the other being Zoe Bridges or Terrence Corbett.

I think the staff overstocks at TE, because of position versatility, they may end up at DE or LB. It's been the staff's MO, so in guessing how they fill out the class, that's what I went with
