I think the same person (a Minnesotan) designed our uniforms, which are both Nike.
 





We beat them 9-7 at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 28, 1974.... My oldest brother was there, and said it was the worst game he's ever seen. His favorite highlight was a TCU punt that went straight up in the air and came down right on top of the punter.
 



The Mayes brothers, Alex and Connor, are from Van Alstyne- about an hour or so from Fort Worth. Their father and grandfather both played at TCU, and Alex and Connor grew up as huge Frog fans. As they became high school stars, they were regular visitors to campus and many fans saw them as sure-fire future Horned Frogs. I don't know any of the details of their recruitment, but they both obviously ended up picking Minnesota.
